ABOUT
Bob is a trusted communications strategist delivering executive-level brand support to elevate and promote organizations. As an life-long Indy resident, Bob’s personal and professional passions have focused on the promotion of Indianapolis as one of the top success stories of the country. He has spent the last decade as the EVP of Downtown Indy, Inc. where he has been responsible for developing and implementing the organization’s strategic communications and public events plan to position Downtown Indianapolis as a vibrant, safe environment.
With a keen focus on tourism, sports and civic engagement, Bob’s experience in delivering high-level PR plans and marketing strategies in the private and nonprofit sectors is extensive and award-winning. His resume includes leadership and counsel with such organizations as RH Indianapolis, Visit Indy, Eli Lilly and Co., Indianapolis Motor Speedway, City of Evansville, Notre Dame, NCAA, Gridiron Foundation, and the 2012 Super Bowl Host Committee and many other national sporting events in Indianapolis.
When not advocating for brands and providing strategic communication counsel, Bob is also a full-time college professor at Butler University where he has taught in the College of Communication since 2003.
